Woven merrowed patches are created by weaving threads together to form a design, unlike embroidered patches which are stitched onto a fabric base. Woven merrowed means the patch has a thick overlocked stitched border called a merrow edge. The border covers a small part of the design edge. It provides a traditional patch appearance (often seen on uniforms) with sharp detail and a clean, professional finish. Works well with simple shapes (circles, squares, rectangles, shields).
Most Durable Woven Patch: Classic stitches edge prevents fraying.
